AMPERETEX and the “Expedition Innovative Russia”.


Today, the Expedition “Innovative Russia” has arrived in Kaliningrad, the final city in the first phase of the programme.

A record number of business and technology start-up representatives from the Kaliningrad region gathered in the AMPERETEX plant for an informal meeting. The organizers of the Expedition, Sergey Bogdanov (CEO-founder of YellowRockets, managing partner of the YellowRockets venture fund, co-founder of the VOX ANGELIS international summit of early-stage investors) and Alexey Malikov (founder of the A&A Capital fund, entrepreneur with 12 years of experience, founder of “Samospas” and “Ventopro”) held lectures for participants.

Minister of Economic Development, Industry and Trade of the Kaliningrad Region – Dmitriy Kuskov also attended the opening.

The project brings together start-up founders, investors, business communities and development institutions to help the country’s residents learn how international start-ups are formed in the regions.

The partners of the expedition are the National Technology Initiative, B8-Accelerator, Innovation Promotion Foundation, Moscow Innovation Cluster, Technopark Skolkovo and Open Innovations Startup Tour, Business Priority of Roscongress Foundation, IIDF (Internet initiatives development fund), VEB Ventures and  Far East High Technology Fund.

“Innovative Russia 2021” was launched in spring on 2nd April in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, and Kaliningrad will be the final city of the first phase. The expedition will continue in the autumn, with investors travelling through the country from north to south.

The colleagues shared experiences and best practices for innovation and entrepreneurship development. Pavel Pogrebniakov, General Director of “Amperetex”, acted as an expert of the tech startup, sharing the secrets of the “investor kitchen” together with his colleagues. The event covered project management methodologies and promising areas of investing.
